A collective agreement is a written contract between an employer and a union that outlines many of the terms and conditions of employment for employees in a bargaining unit. There are three collective agreements that cover Algonquin College’s bargaining unit members. The Academic Collective Agreement covers professors, instructors, partial load employees, counsellors and librarians. The Support Staff Collective Agreement covers all full-time support staff members, appendix D and appendix G employees. The Part-Time Support Staff Collective Agreement covers all regular part-time support staff employees.
